UPDATE: LPD still asking for information in April hit-and-run
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Lexington continue investigating a fatal hit-and-run that happened April 22 on New Circle Road.
Officers say 52-year-old Roger Morrison was hit on New Circle Road near Industry Road and Sunshine Lane.
Surveillance video from a nearby business shows Morrison was walking in the roadway on the outer loop of New Circle just after 4:00 a.m. when he was struck by a dark four-door car, that drove off after the collision.
Officers believe the car sustained damage to the front passenger side and windshield.

The Fayette Co. Coroner has identified the victim in what is now being called a hit-and-run in Lexington.
According to the Coroner, the victim is 52-year-old Roger Morrison.
Morrison’s body was discovered just after 4 a.m. Friday on New Circle Road and Industry Road.
A Coroner’s report says that Morrison died of injuries sustained after being hit by a car on Industry Road while crossing the street.
The report adds that the driver in the incident drove off.
The investigation into the death continues.
