Two women shot inside a car in Lexington
Police say the shooter was in another vehicle
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two women were shot inside a car at Seventh Street and Jackson Street in Lexington on Tuesday evening, according to Lexington Police.
Investigators say the women told them someone from another vehicle shot into their car around 6:47 p.m.
Police say the women then drove a short distance to the 700 block of Shropshire Avenue, where police found them.
Both victims were taken to the hospital with what police say appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
No names were released.
Police are looking for the accused shooter and trying to determine what led up to the shooting.
