Second arrest made in armed robbery of UK student
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A second arrest is made in the robbery of a University of Kentucky student.
Police say 19-year-old Phillip Coleman helped plan the robbery that happened back in March.
The victim says he was getting a ride from a friend, Avion Camp, after class, when another car pulled up and two men got out.
He says not only did Coleman and another man pull guns on him, Camp did too.
They took his backpack and hit him in the face with a gun.
According to court documents after his arrest, Camp told police Coleman planned the robbery.
Police were able to track him down and arrest him Wednesday.
