KSP: 19-year-old arrested on child sexual exploitation charges

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say they arrested 19-year-old Cody B. Anderson on Thursday on charges related to possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

The arrest, which occurred around 8:00 p.m., happened as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.  Troopers say the investigation into Anderson started after they discovered him uploading images of child sexual exploitation online.

Officers say they executed a search warrant on Anderson’s home on Thursday, seizing equipment used to facilitate the crime.

Anderson is charged with twenty counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.  He was arrested and taken to the Jessamine Co. Detention Center.
