Body found on road in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police launched a death investigation after a body was found on a Lexington roadway.

The body was discovered just after 4 a.m. Friday on New Circle Road and Industry Road.

Police say they are not sure if the victim was hit by a car or killed at another location and dropped off on the road.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office is examining the body to try and determine the circumstances surrounding the victim’s death.
