United adding nonstop service from Lexington to Newark

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – United Airlines and Blue Grass Airport announced Tuesday the addition of nonstop daily service from Lexington to Newark Liberty Airport beginning July 1, 2016. The airline will use a 50-seat regional jet. The Newark airport is 14-miles from Manhattan.

Customers can begin booking flights immediately.

Delta Airlines has daily flights from Lexington to New York’s LaGuardia airport.
