in cash seized following the execution of two search warrants at a Richmond, Ky., apartment complex.
According to Richmond Police Chief Rodney Richardson, officers searched units Tuesday at a complex on South Killarney Drive. Officers seized approximately two grams of methamphetamine, seven grams of heroin, the cash, two handguns and a semi-automatic rifle, the chief said.The four people arrested and the charges against them were:
— 35-year-old Darius Motton: Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine), tampering With Physical Evidence, Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
— 46-year-old Thomas Wells: Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon;
— 45-year-old Kelly Abshear: Possession of Controlled Substance 1st degree (Heroin), tampering With Physical Evidence;
— 29-year-old Chelsea Stewart: Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine), Tampering With Physical Evidence, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
