UPDATE: Coroner identifies victim in Athens-Boonesboro crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette County Coroner has identified the victim in a fatal crash on Athens Boonesboro road in Lexington Sunday evening.

The Coroner says Robert Nicholas Kaige Rucker, 22, died of multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.  The coroner says Rucker was the passenger in the single-car crash, that happened near the Fayette-Clark Co. line just before 7:00 p.m.

The driver was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.

The coroner believes speed was a factor.
