Pizza Driver Robbed At Knifepoint in Laurel County
The Laurel County Sheriff’s office said a pizza delivery driver was robbed at knifepoint Sunday.
The sheriff said a Papa John’s driver had stopped on Thompson Poynter Road at around 8:45 p.m. when a man walked up, grabbed his arm, pulled him from the car, and held a knife to his neck.
Investigators said the man took some of the pizza money and the driver’s own wallet.
According to the sheriff the victim suffered cuts to his arm.
