NWS confirms EF-2 grade tornado touches down in Christian Co.

CHRISTIAN CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – The National Weather Service (NWS) is confirming that Christian Co. was hit by a tornado.

NWS crews surveyed part of the county to see if the damage was caused by a tornado.  They now say it was an EF-2  tornado with one-hundred-fifteen mile-per-hour winds.  The winds destroyed a couple of barns and damaged some homes.

There were no reports of anyone injured.
