Closures for Versailles and New Circle Roads Monday-Tuesday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The ongoing widening and reconstruction project on Versailles Road and New Circle Road in Lexington will result in lane closures on March 28, 29, 2016, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The inbound and outbound left lanes will be closed on Versailles Road at mile point 4.699 from 7:00 a.m. March 28 to 6:00 p.m. March 29.

The right lane of the inner loop will be closed on Versailles Road outbound ramp at mile point 4.627 from 7:00 p.m. March 28 to 7:00 a.m. March 29. Traffic will have access to the ramp during the hours of the closure.

The ramp from the inner loop of New Circle Road to inbound Versailles Road will be closed from 10:00 p.m. March 28 to 5:00 a.m. March 29.

Motorists are strongly encouraged to utilize alternate routes. A reduced speed limit of 45 mph will be in effect at all times.
