Red Flag Warning for Madison Co.

MADISON CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – Due to a high fire danger, the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Madison County.

The warning has been issued due to the high potential for gusty winds, low humidity and dry vegetation which means conditions are conducive for a rapid spread of ignited wild land fires.

Residents are urged not to burn anything as weather conditions make any outdoor burning difficult to contain and control.
