I-75 exit 113 ramp at Paris Pike to be closed Sunday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a scheduled ramp closure for Interstate 75 Northbound for high friction surface repair work.

High Friction Surface is a pavement treatment using wear-resistant materials applied to asphalt. The coverage provides improved safety through increased surface friction, especially during wet weather.

Sunday, Sept. 12 – 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Interstate 75 – Northbound

  • the Off Ramp/Exit 113 will be closed at milepoint 112.834
  • this is the ramp from Northbound Interstate 75 to Paris Pike/US 27

Alternate Routes:

  • Winchester Road Exit
  • Newtown Pike Exit
  • both of the above exits access New Circle Road/KY 4 and Paris Pike/US 27 by utilizing Ironworks Pike/KY 1973

All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
