Pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are looking for the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian seriously injured.
Police say the man was crossing Tates Creek Road at Laredo Drive around 5:44 p.m., when he was hit by a vehicle. Police say the driver did not stop.
Investigators say the man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. His name wasn’t released.
All outbound lanes of Tates Creek Road were shut down for one-hour, which snarled rush hour traffic.
