Survivor Squad honors lost loved ones for Overdose Awareness Month

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – August is Overdose Awareness Month.

To remember loved ones that were lost to drugs and alcohol, a local group of recovered addicts known as the Survivor Squad gathered outside the Anderson County Courthouse Saturday, lighting a candle in their honor.

The group members shared their own stories and stories of loved ones…saying prayers and spreading awareness.
