UPDATE: All SB lanes of I-75 in Fayette County reopen after crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Southbound I-75 in Fayette County was down to one lane following a crash involving a semi and two other vehicles, according to Lexington Police.

Investigators say it happened just prior to mile marker 100 around 6:48 p.m.

Police say at least two people were injured, but investigators were told by the fire department the injuries were not life-threatening.

Even though police opened the far left lane almost immediately following the crash, there was still a temporary traffic backup.

All lanes were reopened by 8:10 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
