Somerset business gets one of Paul’s ‘Business of the Week’ honors

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Somerset coffee shop had a special guest for morning coffee Friday.

And U.S. Sen. Rand Paul brought a special note for Baxter’s Coffee.

The senator presented the business one of his weekly U.S. Senate Small Business of the Week honors.

Paul, a Bowling Green doctor, highlights the businesses with a statement in the Congressional Record each week and then presents the business owners with a framed copy of the citation.

He did that Friday morning to the Tuttle family, owners of the business. Baxter’s has been in business for 20 years.
