Fisherman drowns in Scott County

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A fisherman has passed away after drowning in a Scott County lake.

According to the Scott County Coroner, Daniel Tony Johnson, 23, was fishing at a lake off of Duvall Station Road near Stamping Ground Road last night.

Johnson had a medical condition that caused him to fall out of the boat and drown.

His body was found at 9:55 p.m.
