Saratoga Springs, NY (WTVQ) – The opening night of the 100th Annual Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale brought in some serious money with one sale. Jacob West, the agent for Robert and Lawana Low, bid $1.6 million for a Kentucky-bred Uncle Mo colt out of grade 1 winner Dame Dorothy. The colt was consigned by Stone Farm in Bourbon County.

According to Bloodhorse, Uncle Mo was bred in Kentucky by celebrity chef Bobby Flay. Uncle Mo is the third foal produced from Flay’s Bernardini mare Dame Dorothy, winner of the 2015 Humana Distaff (G1) and a former Todd Pletcher trainee.
