Winchester man dies when car crashes into I-75 concrete barrier

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An 81-year-old Winchester man was killed Sunday when the car he was driving crashed into a concrete median barrier on I-75.

According to Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn, John Steward died at about 11:22 a.m. at the University of Kentucky Medical Center from injuries he suffered in the crash.

Ginn said Steward lost control of his car and hit the center concrete barrier on I-75 southbound at the 113 mile marker.
