UPDATE: Road work continues on Georgetown Road/US 25 in Fayette County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An update has been issued for road closures on Georgetown Road/US 25 in Fayette County.
From Sunday, Aug. 8 through Monday, Aug. 9, paving will be in effect from Rain Garden Way (milepoint 15.978) to the New Circle Road/KY 4 Overpass (milepoint 16.151).
Lasting from 7 p.m. Sunday until 6 a.m. Monday, the southern portion of the interchange will have alternating lane closures in place. Drivers will be able to pass through the work zone.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ/Press Release) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has issued an update on Georgetown Road/US 25 lane closures. The closures are needed for completion of drainage structures, sidewalks and curb/gutter.
The work is part of the New Circle Road Widening Project.
From Wednesday, July 14 through Wednesday, July 21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekday, a lane closure will be in effect inbound between Rain Garden Way (milepoint 15.978) and Nandino Boulevard (milepoint 16.374).
Additionally, a lane closure remains in effect for the northbound side between Rain Garden Way (milepoint 15.978) and Nandino Boulevard (milepoint 16.374) from July 14 to Friday, August 13 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday.
