KSP searching for Trigg County murder suspect

CADIZ, Ky. (WTVQ/Press Release) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Troopers are searching for a suspect in a Trigg County murder who was scheduled to appear in court this morning.

According to KSP, James W. Gentry, Jr., 46, of Hopkinsville has removed his ankle monitor.

Gentry could be traveling south in a gold Buick Regal passenger car. He should be considered dangerous as his charges include Murder, Robbery, and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of James Gentry, Jr. is asked to contact Kentucky State Police, Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555, or notify local law enforcement. Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app.
