Food distribution includes fresh produce in Rockcastle

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The effort to get food distributed to those in need across rural Eastern Kentucky took on a ‘fresh’ approach Friday…literally.

The Christian Appalachian Project and God’s Pantry Food Bank gave out fresh produce at Rockcastle Baptist Church.

The produce came from Kentucky farmers as part of the Kentucky Proud farm-to-table USDA program.
