LPD: Driver returns to scene of hit-and-run involving pedestrian

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a driver in a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian, returned to the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Police say the pedestrian, whose name wasn’t released, suffered minor injuries Thursday after being hit at the intersection of South Broadway and West Maxwell Street just after 10 p.m.

Investigators say the driver who hit the pedestrian initially left the scene, only to return a short time later.

Police are still investigating.
