Georgia ‘angel’ makes things brighter for Baptist Corbin breast cancer patients

CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Judy Mason, former owner of Color Me Pink Boutique in Warner Robins, Ga., visited Baptist Health Corbin with a carload of merchandise from her store.

Mason owned and operated Color Me Pink Boutique for more than 14 years and when she decided to close her shop and retire, she wanted to put her remaining merchandise to good use.

Mason found out about the dedicated Breast Care Center at Baptist Health Corbin and wanted to help the patients.

Stacey Carson, nurse navigator at Baptist Health, called  patients and scheduled them to meet with Mason for a fitting and free bra and prosthesis.

“Patients who hadn’t been fitted for bras or were not wearing the correct sizes were pleased when they left with multiple bras and prosthesis. Judy is an Angel on earth!” Carson said.

Each patient has received at least two newly fitted bras and prosthesis if needed.
