Second motorcycle theft in less than a week in Floyd County

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office is investigating its second motorcycle theft case in less than a week.

The most recent theft happened Monday, July 12 in the Emma community.  According to a post on the office’s Facebook page, a 2008 Suzuki RMZ 450 was stolen.

A Harley-Davidson motorcycle was reported stolen in the county on July 10, but was later recovered.

Deputies are asking for the public’s help again finding the most recent stolen motorcycle.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Floyd County dispatch at 606-886-6171.  People can also remain anonymous and call the office’s tip line at 606-949-2020.
