3-year-old gets special visits from the real police he wants to be one day
PARIS, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 3-year-old already knows what he wants to be when he grows up and isn’t afraid to show it.
And this weekend, as he turns 3 on July 5, he got a full treatment from some of his idols.
Gentry Carpenter, the son of Kaylee and Zach Carpenter, got visits from the Bourbon County Sheriff’s Department and Paris Police Department as part his birthday celebration. It even included a mini parade with Paris Police cars.
He got to sit in patrol cars and was decked out in his own police uniform.
The officers included Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Wilson and Sheriff Sheriff Tony Asbury Jr., and Paris Police Lt. Joe Stevenson and officers Steve Breslin and Paul Sandfort.
