Richmond hosts annual Fourth of July extravaganza
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Richmond’s Fourth of July extravaganza hosted a variety of free activities like mini golf and swimming as well as food vendors and live music.
Richmond Police say they were ready to go if something were to happen, but that they weren’t worried. According to police, a few hundred people were expected to join the festivities.
“The community does real well,” says interim Chief of Police Rodney Richardson. “They come up here, they cookout, spend some time with family, play games with their kids, watch fireworks and go home.”
