Raid nets drug trafficking charges, missing child
PARIS, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 26-year-old Bourbon County man has been arrested for drug trafficking and custodial interference and could face more serious abduction charges following a raid on his home Thursday.
According to the Bluegrass Narcotic Task Force, Solomon Fields is charged with two counts of second-degree trafficking, cocaine trafficking, and marijuana trafficking. He also is charged with custodial interference and endangering a minor after a missing 5-year-old was found hidden in the residence, according to the agency, which is made up of officers from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Cynthiana Police Department, Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office and Paris Police Department.
Fields remains in the Bourbon County Regional Jail on $20,000 bond.
In addition, the Paris Police Department is conducting the abduction investigation related to the child.
