Portion of KY 3480 in Clay County to be closed starting Wednesday
CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a portion of KY 3480 in Clay County will be closed beginning Wednesday, June 9.
The work schedule is listed below:
- Wednesday, June 9 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thursday, June 10 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday, June 11 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The closure is necessary due to sanitary sewer placement through its intersection of U.S. 421. The closure will begin from its intersection on the south side with U.S. 421 to the intersection of KY 3480 and Swafford Street. Local access to businesses will be allowed.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
