Man accused of stealing purse at knifepoint at church

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they have a purse snatcher in custody.

They accuse 37-year-old Robert Schultz of pulling a knife on the victim and stealing her purse.

Police say it happened at Corner Stone Baptist Church on Winchester Road back on February 21st.

Schultz fled to Scott County, where he was arrested.

Court documents say Schultz admitted to the theft.
