Lawrenceburg Water Dept. issues boil water advisory

LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ)-  The Lawrenceburg Water Department says a boil water advisory is now in place because of a water main break.

It says the advisory will be in effect for at least the next 24 hours, and customers will be notified by the Code Red Notification System when the advisory is lifted.

The water department encourages customers who did not receive the initial advisory, do not have a land line phone, or are unsure if they have contact information registered in the Code Red system to log onto the cities website here.

Customers should use the Code Red Button at the bottom of the home page to make sure they receive important updates affecting their address.
