Laurel sheriff: Driver found slumped over wheel, drugs in truck

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a woman was arrested Monday night outside of London after she was found slumped over the wheel of a truck.

Investigators say 26-year-old Kendra Hurley of East Bernstadt had items including syringes, spoons and an empty Suboxone strip package inside the vehicle. They say she admitted to shooting up Suboxone earlier in the day.

The sheriff’s office says Hurley is facing several charges including driving under the influence, driving on a suspended or revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
