Pulaski man accused of murder-for-hire plot

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ) – Deputies say a Somerset man picked the wrong person to try and hire to kill someone.

26-year-old Jordan Nicholas was arrested on Tuesday and charged with solicitation to commit murder.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office say Nicholas was looking for someone to murder another Somerset man.

Authorities found out about it.

They say Nicholas did attempt to hire someone to commit the murder – that person was an undercover sheriff deputy.

The sheriff says after the two discussed details of the crime, other deputies moved in and arrested Nicholas.
