Pedestrian in critical condition after accident on New Circle Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) –  An accident in Lexington has left a pedestrian in critical condition.

Police say a car hit a man at the intersection of New Circle Road and Russell Cave Road in Lexington around 7:30 p.m. Monday night.

According to police, the pedestrian was crossing New Circle Road illegally.

Police say the car’s driver was not hurt, and was not cited.
