Somerset Police investigate shooting at mobile home park

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police are investigating after an early-morning shooting at an area mobile home park.

Officers say it happened just after 6 a.m. at the Sunset Mobile Home Park. Crews say when they got there they found 38-year-old Robert Lee Colyer had been shot in the torso. They say he was treated at the scene before being taken to an area hospital.

Shortly after, officers announced a warrant for the arrest of Randy Kauffman in the shooting. they say Kauffman is known to go by the nickname, “Arkansas.” They say Kauffman is believed to be armed and dangerous.
