Fayette County Public Schools closed Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Fayette County Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 22, 2016, due to bad weather. It is the third snow day in a row for the district.

Below is the announcement sent out by the school district:

Dear FCPS Families:

In light of the pending winter storm, all Fayette County Public Schools and offices will be closed on Friday, January 22, 2016. We will also cancel all activities taking place in our buildings and on our campuses Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd.

Please heed the warnings being issued by our city officials and stay off the roads. Nothing is more important that staying safe at this time.
