Janet Jackson concert at Rupp Arena cancelled

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – In a tweet this afternoon, Rupp Arena announced that Janet Jackson’s concert, originally scheduled for January 30th has been cancelled.

Jackson’s appearance had already been postponed, due to a tumor found on her vocal cord.  Now, the arena says technical upgrades over the Summer will bar an attempt at rescheduling the show.

Rupp Arena says that refunds are available immediately at the point of purchase.
