Fight between brothers leads to stabbing
LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A fight between brothers left one with stab wounds from a knife and the other with a head wound from being hit with a wooden object, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators say Brian Napier was stabbed by his brother, Brent Napier, after Brian hit Brent in the head with a wooden object.
Brian Napier was driven to Manchester Memorial Hospital and later transferred to UK Hospital in Lexington for treatment of stab wounds, according to investigators. Brent Napier was treated at his home off of Curry Road, east of London, where the fight happened late Friday afternoon, according to sheriff’s deputies.
Investigators say the Napier’s mother, Loretta Napier, unsuccessfully tried to break-up the fight. A knife reportedly used in the stabbing was recovered, according to investigators.
This case will be presented to a Laurel County Grand Jury for consideration.
