Suspicious Apartment Fire

Fire investigators in Estill County will be out Thursday to try and determine what started a fire at an apartment building.

Firefighters said a small fire broke out in one of the apartments in the bottom floor of the building.

It’s in the 200-block of Rose Bud in Irvine.

The building sustained some smoke and water damage.

Firefighters said the fire is suspicious because the building is vacant and has no electricity running to it.
