Wreck involving FedEx truck shuts down road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A road is shut down for several hours following a wreck involving a FedEx truck in Lexington.

It happened at around 10 p.m. Monday on Leestown Road and North Yarnallton Pike.

Police say the driver swerved to get around one car, collided with two other cars and overturned.

Two utility poles were hit.

The road shut down for several hours as crews worked to move the truck and Kentucky Utilities and Time Warner Cable repaired the poles.
