Grocery store destroyed in Lawrence County fire

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Emergency managers say a fire destroyed a Lawrence County grocery store overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.

There are little details about what happened but Facebook posts indicate a truck was on fire in the store parking lot which resulted in the flames spreading to the store. Emergency managers say fire crews started to try and fight the fire but eventually took a defensive position against it.
