Laurel deputies: Homeowner catches man trying to steal truck

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a homeowner caught a man trying to steal his truck.

Deputies were called to Slate Lick Road, north of London, around 4:30 this morning. The sheriff’s office says the homeowner was able to keep the suspect from leaving. Investigators accuse 37-year-old Curtis B. Brewer of London of burglary, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, criminal trespassing and menacing. The sheriff’s office says he’s also facing outstanding warrants.

Investigators say their could be more charges in the case.
