Apartment fire displaces family Sunday night
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A family has been displaced from their apartment after a fire.
According to Lexington Fire Major Haunz, says that around 7:45 P.M. Lexington fire responded to multiple calls about flames coming out of an upstairs window of a two story apartment building on Osage Court.
Major Haunz says the fire was quickly put out and did not go farther than the apartment itself.
He says there is significant smoke and fire damage to the upstairs, displacing three adults and three kids, who were inside the apartment at the time of the fire.
No one was hurt.
The fire is under investigation.
