Bridging Kentucky project starts on May 31 in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists that a bridge replacement project in Clay County starts on Monday, May 31.

This bridge replacement project for the structure crossing Phillips Fork in Red Bird takes place on KY 1850 at mile point 2.759 in Clay County.

Traffic will continue to use the diversion built in February and will have a speed limit of 15 mph in the construction limits. Irvine Contracting will be the prime contractor building the bridge.

The bridge is expected to open on Saturday, August 14.
