Governor Beshear visits new First Care Clinic in Mt. Sterling

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Governor Andy Beshear was in Mt. Sterling for the grand opening of a new First Care Clinic that will also serve as a coronavirus vaccine provider.

Mt. Sterling’s mayor and members of the Chamber of Commerce were also on hand.

They’re grateful that First Care Clinic’s CEO Rob Pantoja chose Mt. Sterling for its newest home and to provide more affordable health care options to the community.

“I’m really excited to be here today because I believe health care is a basic human right and I think this pandemic has shown how important the accessibility is for every Kentuckian,” Beshear said.

Pantoja said he’s proud all of the company’s clinics are in rural communities.
