UPDATE: Police identify 34-year-old woman killed in Richmond, still searching for suspect
UPDATE: RICHMOND, Ky. (3:20 P.M.) (WTVQ) – The Richmond Police Department has identified 34-year-old Andrea Hernandez as the woman killed Wednesday morning in Richmond.
Police say on May 12, at approximately 3:30 A.M, the Richmond Police received information from the Lexington Police Department regarding a homicide.
Police say they responded to Earlene Court where they found Hernandez dead from a gunshot wound.
Police are still searching for 40-year-old, Hector Hernandez-Diaz, also known as Hector Diaz-Hernandez of Richmond in connection with the homicide.

Police believe Hernandez fled the scene in a Gray 2003 Volkswagen Passat, 4-Door, bearing KY Reg Plate # BFD078.

Police are urging people to use caution, as he is armed and dangerous.
RICHMOND, Ky. (ORIGINAL STORY) (WTVQ) – A homicide investigation is underway in Richmond in the death of a woman discovered this morning.
Richmond Police are seeking 40-year-old Hector Hernandez-Diaz, who also is known as Hector Diaz-Hernandez, of Richmond in connection with a homicide.
Police urge the public to use caution as he is considered armed and dangerous.
He is believed to be operating a silver passenger car. There is currently no information on the vehicle other than color.

According to Richmond police, Four Mile Avenue is currently closed at Danielle Court and Estill Avenue due to a homicide investigation.
Police said to avoid the area until further notice.
