UPDATE: Missing Whitley County man found safe
UPDATE: James B. McDonnell Jr. was found safe in Campbell County, Tenn., Whitley County Sheriff Todd Shelley said.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Golden Alert was issued Tuesday by the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department for a 46-year old man who went missing May 7, 2021.
Deputies say James McDonnell Jr., was last seen Friday around 9:00 a.m. on London Avenue in Williamsburg.
They say he was driving a maroon 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck with a temporary KY tag A684957.
McDonnell is described as 5’4″ and 130 pounds, blue eyes and bald.
Deputies say he left behind his heart medication and didn’t take a change of clothes.
