Dr. Jamal / Mr. Murray

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Really look at this stat line Solid Blue fans.

Jamal Murray played 34 minutes, went 13-23 from the field, including 7-of-9 from three…and scored a game-high 33 points in the 74-67 loss to Ohio State this weekend.

It was a Jekyll and Hyde performance.

Murray did have a nice jumper and pretty putback in the first half, but he too often passed up shots and opportunities Cal wanted the freshman to take.

In general, Murray, like many guys on the team, must come out as the aggressor from the start…not wait until UK is down 12 at the half to start going hard.
