Pulaski rescue group needs help of its own after fire

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ) – A group that spends countless hours helping others needed some help of its own Tuesday.

The Somerset-Pulaski County Special response team had a fire at its headquarters. Much of its equipment was destroyed or damaged.

The group’s two bird mascots were saved by Somerset firefighters, although one, Romeo, needed medical treatment at a veterinarian.
